Day 1 – Manado / Bitung ➝ Tangkoko Wildlife Adventure

Morning

• Pick-up from Sam Ratulangi International Airport or your hotel in Manado / Bitung by private car.

• Enjoy a scenic drive to Tangkoko Nature Reserve (approximately 2–3 hours).

Afternoon

• Arrive at Tangkoko and check in at an eco-lodge or guesthouse near the forest.

• Lunch and a short briefing from your guide about wildlife behavior and forest etiquette.

Evening (15:30–18:30)

• Begin your first forest walk, accompanied by an experienced park ranger and naturalist guide.

• Walk for about one hour to reach the sleeping tree of the Spectral Tarsier, the world’s smallest primate.

• As the sun sets, watch these tiny creatures emerge from their tree hollow to start their nightly hunt.

Dinner & Overnight: Tangkoko Lodge or equivalent accommodation.

Day 2 – Full-Day Tangkoko Forest Exploration

Morning (06:00–18:00)

• Early morning walk through the forest and along the nearby coastal trail.

• Observe a variety of wildlife including:

  • Black Crested Macaque

  • Sulawesi Bear Cuscus

  • Knobbed Hornbill

  • Tarantulas, Kingfishers, Parrots, Pigeons, and more.

• Listen to the forest awaken with morning calls and enjoy great photo opportunities in the soft natural light.

Midday

• Breakfast at the lodge.

• Lunch by the beach — relax on the stunning black and white sand shores.

Afternoon

• Leisure time to relax or explore the nearby village at your own pace.

Day 3 – Tangkoko ➝ Manado / Bitung

• Breakfast at 6:00 AM.

• Check-out and drive back to Manado or Bitung.
