🗓Itinerary — 3 Days

Day 1 – Manado ➝ Tomohon Highlands

• Pick-up from Sam Ratulangi International Airport or hotel in Manado.

• Drive to Tomohon Highlands (approx. 2 hours) through scenic mountain roads.

• Stop at Woloan Village to observe traditional Minahasan wooden house craftsmanship.

• Lunch overlooking Lake Tondano or Mount Lokon.

• Check-in at an eco-lodge or mountain-view hotel.

• Dinner and overnight stay in Tomohon.

Day 2 – Mount Mahawu Volcano & Flora Exploration

• Early breakfast, then drive to Mount Mahawu Crater.

• Light trekking (±1 hour) to study volcanic vegetation — mosses, orchids, shrubs, and trees adapted to volcanic soil.

• Observation and photography around the crater rim and geothermal vents.
